After a two and a half hour train ride from New York to Connecticut, I joined Shannon for a 4 hour car ride to Ricketts Glen in Pennsylvania. If you’re not familiar with this place, it’s kind of a big deal when it comes to waterfalls. There are a lot to shoot and it looks awesome in the fall.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have more than a few hours to shoot before making the 4 hour drive back to Connecticut. We did, however, shoot 3 waterfalls and some surreal portraits. Shannon was brave enough to get into a dress, and get into some cold water for me. I’m hoping to have time to edit that in the next couple of months. I have a lot of images to work on, after being on the road for nearly 3 weeks.
Ok, this photo was taken with LongExpo Pro, which is good for long exposures on the iPhone. You can also sharpen parts of the image that you don’t want blurry from the slow shutter speed. In this case, I sharpened the rock. I also used Snapseed and Mextures to make some adjustments and add some color overlay.
