Shannon, of seeing spots photography, flew in late last night. We decided to get up at 4:30am to try and shoot the sunrise in Santa Cruz. Unfortunately, the fog and clouds had other ideas.
After trying to make something out of nothing, we headed to Big Basin for some redwoods…and some Shannon selfies.
Now, after giving her a super brief photoshop lesson, we’re heading to SF for a seascape workshop with Toby Harriman, David Gaiz, and Michael Shainblum. I’m hoping to pick their brains a bit cuz they’re some of the top photographers today.
Mostly, I’m going for the networking, and observing a landscape/seascape workshop because we talked about possibly putting one on next year.
