Today I thought I would shoot with my Nikon and both of my iPhones, but I ended up using only the 5s after about 15 minutes. It’s just so fast and light. I was using a tripod for my Nikon and handholding the iPhone in the same light. So instead of lugging the gear and camera around, I put it back in the car and used the 5s. I took a ton of photos, more than I normally took with my 4, because it processes HDR photos instantly.
I used the stopwatch on the 5s to time how long it takes the 4 to shoot HDR in the default camera app. It took just under 5 seconds to process one HDR shot. I could probably take an HDR photo followed by 40 normal photos in the time it takes for the old iPhone to process one HDR shot. That’s crazy.
Snapseed for the edit.
