CreativeLive is a great resource for photographers that are looking to improve, no matter what skill level they’re at. I’ve learned quite a bit and been inspired by amazing photographers on there. Today, they are offering their first iPhoneography workshop…and its all free if you watch it live, or watch the replay.
It begins at 9am pacific time and ends around 4pm pacific time, on both Thursday and Friday. All you have to do is go here and click on the iPhoneography course. If you go to that link way before the workshop starts, it may not be up yet. Don’t worry though, it will be there shortly before it begins.
If you can’t watch during the live broadcast, you can always tune in afterwards for the free rebroadcast.
The description of the course leads me to believe this is going to be geared towards beginners, but you may find useful stuff along the way.
Get ready to take jaw-dropping photos and videos using only your iPhone! Join award-winning photographer Jack Davis for a two-day introduction to the power and sophistication of the iPhone camera.
Jack will teach you everything you need to know about using your iPhone to capture dynamic images, panoramas, and high-definition video. You’ll explore the benefits and storytelling opportunities that come from always having a high-powered camera at your fingertips. Jack will guide you through the use and selection of apps for enhancing and embellishing photos. You’ll also learn about sharing and archiving your photos using videos, slideshows, collages, social networks, web galleries, and more.
Whether you’re a novice who uses an iPhone as your primary camera or a professional photographer who’s ready to leave your bulky camera at home sometimes, this course will give you the tools you need to take amazing photos on-the-go.
You should also take a look at their calendar to see the upcoming courses. Next week is photo week. It should be jam packed with amazing photographers sharing their secrets 🙂
