I posted this on my facebook page on friday and figured I’d share it here today. Muir Woods was kind of crowded when I went. This was probably the only shot I got of an empty path. I’m not used to seeing so many people out enjoying nature. On one hand, its nice to see others appreciating it, on the other, get out of my shot! I’m joking, of course. I’m not too surprised Muir Woods was packed. There don’t seem to be a lot of options around here as far as escaping into nature goes.
I’m hoping I have time today to write up a tutorial explaining how I edited it with Topaz plugins. They recently asked me if I was interested in doing a writeup for their monthly newsletter. I couldn’t say no to that kind of exposure.
This is a single exposure, shot with a Nikon D800 (awesome camera, btw,) with a 24-70mm 2.8 lens. I’ll let you know the workflow when the article comes out 🙂
