Superimpose is free in the app store right now. Its a good way to combine multiple images together. It’s similar to ImageBlender, but has more selection tools. Of course, more tools and options makes for a more complicated user interface, but it looks like a very good app after using it for about 20 minutes.
This was my first attempt with the app. I’m sure the mask could have been done a little more cleanly, but I haven’t figured out all of the controls yet.

Thanks! I’ll have to check this out.
You’re welcome.
This is a very interesting app! I might look into it. However it will take some time to figure out how to use the masks correctly
Thanks for posting this though! And the sunset is beautiful! (I assume thats the real photo?)
~My Blog
The sunset was from an old iphone shot. I just wanted to use it to replace the sky above the mountain while I tested the app out.
If you have experience with masking in photoshop, this shouldn’t be too hard.
Nah it shouldn’t be hard at all
Thanks for sharing!
Very cool!
cool but you can easily figure out this is an conbination for the sun is below the mountain and it’s sunshine where should be in darkness
I know. It was the only sky shot I had to work with at the time. If I was doing a real review, and not just exploring the app, I’d have used an appropriate sky.
Oh my gosh, I’m so glad I finally got to your blog. The timing on finding this tip/app recommendation is awesome.
Thanks for coming by niasimoneauthor.com. Appreciate the visit and the serendipity as I’m working something for a new post series (first of every month starting 4/1/13).
Looking forward to following you.
Cheers,
Nia
